Returns & Warranty

We want you to be happy with your purchase and hope you enjoy using your item, but we also understand that for one reason or another, there may be times when you need to exchange or return something you've bought. If you have any problems, no matter how trivial, please feel free to phone or email us and we’ll do our best to sort things out for you. Our aim is 100% customer satisfaction.



What if I change my mind?

You are welcome to return any goods you have purchased from us for an exchange or refund. Columbus Europe is proud to offer a 14-day money-back Guarantee on all our products. If you wish to return an item you have purchased, you must cancel your order and notify us within 14 days of receipt of your item. Return postage costs for unwanted items are your responsibility. We cannot give refunds for the original delivery, or return postage costs. A restocking fee of 15% will be applicable for non-faulty goods returned in an open box condition.



What if there’s a fault with the product?

All of our products are covered by a minimum 1-Year Warranty from the purchase date.

If your item develops a fault within 30 days we will replace your item for you.

If a fault develops after 30 days, we will arrange for a repair of the product under the warranty or, if that’s not possible, replace your item for you or, if that's not possible, exchange it for a similar item of equal value.
Please note that factors such as general wear and tear, breakages, and any damage caused by the user of the item, are not covered by a warranty.

Please be aware that the manufacturer’s warranty will become invalidated if you tamper with any item/s by attempting to fix them yourself, it will mean Columbus Europe will not be liable to replace or refund the item/s for you. Please get in touch with us first before attempting to fix any problems yourself.



Conditions of returns

It is important that returned goods are sent back to us with the original receipt and in their original condition with no marks or damage to the item or packaging. You must take reasonable care of the item and ensure that it is returned “as new” in the condition it was received, along with any extras such as stickers, USB readers, cables etc. Please note that you will be charged for a reduction in the value of the goods if reasonable care hasn’t been taken which results in further damage or deterioration of the item during transit.

To return an item, simply email us at support@columbus-gps.de and let us know if you would prefer an exchange or a refund. If exchanging please let us know what you would like to exchange them for. Please include your order number so we can trace the return back to you. If you have doubts or questions then do not hesitate to contact us where we will be happy to advise you.

When returning, put a copy of the email you send to us in the package so we know who they are from and what you would like us to do.



Returning goods

We strongly recommend customers use a registered postal service since we can't be held responsible for undelivered returns. Make sure you send the products back recorded and tracked and that you keep the receipt.



Refunds

Once your returned goods have been received we will usually refund your purchase within 14 days. The refund will be made on the original debit or credit card that was used to make the purchase (assuming the returned goods are in satisfactory condition).
